Finally the Canal to Harbor tour leaves Settler’s Landing (1025 West Superior Avenue) every Sunday morning at 10 AM.
Each tour is approximately one and a half hours in length, and admission is free. You can learn more by heading to the Historic Gateway web site.
“Over the course of the summer, we have received a great deal of interest in the tours and have had steady attendance with positive feedback,” says Kelly Lange, program manager for the Historic Gateway Main Street program. “On Thursday, August 6th, we had 141 people show up for the Gateway Take a Hike. Thank goodness two tour guides were available! Heritage Tourism is alive and well in Cleveland!”
Susan Miller, concierge at Renaissance Cleveland, said, “Fantastic program. I enjoyed the tours. I only receive positive feedback from my guests.”
Kathy from Northfield said, “We stayed downtown to eat lunch at the Waterstreet Grill, and having lunch downtown was something I haven’t done in years. Thanks for pulling this together. I love Cleveland!”
