In its sixth year, the Wooster Arts Jazz Fest 2009 will feature nearly 100 artists, along with children’s activities, music, and gourmet food. This free festival, which draws visitors from throughout the Northeast Ohio region, will take place on Sept. 20, 2009, from 11:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. in historic downtown Wooster.
This day-long festival features art, fine craft, jazz, quality food, a traditional New Orleans-style parade, and free children’s arts activities. The purpose of this festival is to celebrate the arts, provide sales opportunities for artists, and promote economic development in downtown Wooster.
Presented through a partnership between Main Street Wooster Foundation, Inc., Rotary Club of Wooster, and the Wooster City Schools, the Wooster Arts Jazz Fest is organized by volunteers and funded through donations.
