Our local partner in Cincinnati, Cincinnati Preservation Association (CPA), is hosting Cincinnati’s first-ever program on energy efficiency and sustainability for old-house owners, “Old House, Green House.” The program will be held on Saturday, January 23 from 9:30 to noon at the Art Academy of Cincinnati at 1212 Jackson Street in Over-the-Rhine.
“Old House, Green House” will cover the following topics:
Insulation options for historic buildings
High-efficiency HVAC systems
All about geothermal energy
Appropriate storm windows
Greening your renovation
The program format will allow plenty of time for questions and discussion. Admission is $10.00 for members and $15.00 for non-members. Reservations are required due to limited space. Parking is available in an open lot across the street. Please contact CPA at info@cincinnatipreservation.org or 513.721.4506.
“Old House, Green House” is sponsored by Apollo Heating & Cooling, a family-owned business serving Cincinnati since 1910. The Cincinnati area chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council is nonprofit co-sponsor.
