Call for Application Workshops: June 19, 21 and 23, 2007
Applicant communities are required to attend one of the three Call for Application workshops held across the state. Any individual may represent the program at the workshop. Call for application dates are listed on the calendar of events.
Letter of Intent: August 3, 2007
To better plan the selection process, Heritage Ohio requires communities to submit a letter of intent to apply for the program no later than August 3, 2007. The letter is non-binding but will serve as an indication of those communities who intend to apply. A resolution that includes an individual voice vote from the governing body stating they agree to abide by the requirements of the Heritage Ohio Main Street Program, must also be included with the letter of intent. Please mail to the address listed below.
Upon receipt of the community's letter of intent and resolution, Heritage Ohio will contact your community for a date and time to meet with the governing body. You may also be informed of a date and time for a formal brief presentation and interview with the selection committee.
Application Submission: October 26, 2007
When all four sections of the application have been completed, please organize the original materials into three-ring binders with tabbed sections and a table of contents. Make eight (8) copies of the original application and all attachments (with the exception of C-31), and assemble in the exact format as the original, including tabbed sections and table of contents, in three-ring binder. Photos must be burned on a CD and be in an individual jpg or tif format.
Mail the original, plus the eight (8) copies to:
