Young Ohio Preservationists
Beginning in 2013, Heritage Ohio began discussions in their board meetings on how best to engage the new generation of preservationists emerging in Ohio. After interviews, focus groups, and much discussion, a new group was formed to enliven the new generation and develop their voice in preservation and advocacy. In December 2014 the first board of the Young Ohio Preservationists was announced. Heritage Ohio’s dedication to facilitating opportunities for emerging preservationists through the Young Ohio Preservationists ensures that Ohio will have dynamic conversations, unique perspectives, and excited and engaged recreational and professional preservationists.
