Heritage Ohio's Annual Preservation Month Photo Contest

Theme | See Ohio’s Treasures, Save Ohio’s Treasures

Preservation Month 2015 is here, and we’re accepting entries for our Preservation Month Photo Contest. As in years past, we’re looking for your artistic images that embody the spirit of preservation and revitalization in Ohio.
What does “See Ohio’s Treasures, Save Ohio’s Treasures” mean? It means, that as a community of preservationists, it’s our job to use our eyes to see where preservation is needed, and then to act to make preservation happen. The first step is seeing our historic treasures, and we invite you to share them with us through your photography.
We will accept entries now through Friday, May 29. You can either use our submission form here, or you can post your photo on Instagram or Facebook using the hashtag #HOIContest. Once our Preservation Committee has chosen our finalists, we’ll open the contest to voting on Friday, June 5. We’ll announce the winner of the contest on Friday, June 12.
Here’s your chance to grab Ohio photographic fame and a spot on the cover of Revitalize Ohio! Good luck!
Lindsay McCoy was the winner of our Preservation Month 2014 Photo Contest, with her “Sun sets on Court Street” image of the Balyeat’s neon sign in downtown Van Wert.
