EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Historic Downtown Lebanon, Inc. seeks full-time director. Our mission is to promote and protect the economic viability of Downtown Lebanon while preserving its historical character and charm. Responsibilities include: coordinating activities of committees to achieve goals of work plan; working with downtown businesses; collaborating with community organizations; maintaining data bases; and publishing newsletters. The director must be skilled in verbal and written communication, able to work effectively with diverse groups, proficient in Microsoft Office applications, well organized and able to operate in an independent environment. Troy Main Street, Inc. has an immediate opening for an Executive Director to coordinate the activities of its downtown revitalization program. The director will work closely with downtown business and property owners, city staff, civic groups, historic preservationists and private citizens and will focus on promotion, economic development, design and organization issues.
Applicants should have a degree and/or professional experience with demonstrated leadership abilities in one or more of the following areas; planning, economic development, marketing, fundraising, volunteer management, nonprofit management and small business development. Excellent verbal, written and computer skills are essential; strong interpersonal skills are mandatory. Salary based upon qualifications and experience.
