Downtown Piqua is a bustling area filled with wonderful shopping and dining destinations. Our quaint canal-era architecture is welcoming and there are plenty of shopkeepers willing to give you the excellent customer service you deserve. We are definitely worth a visit!
Piqua’s Central Business District is located just one mile west of I-75 and is home of the beautifully restored Fort Piqua Plaza. This magnificent building recently underwent a $22-million restoration and is now the home of the Piqua Public Library and a conference facility. Visitors can enjoy a self-guided tour of the building and will definitely want to visit our home-grown chocolate and coffee shop while in the building. While visiting downtown Piqua you will find a delightful variety of shopping opportunities including a full-service Men’s clothing store, a 365-Christmas shop, antique and gift stores and needlecraft and quilt stores.
Mainstreet Piqua is a non-profit organization dedicated to the revitalization and redevelopment of downtown Piqua. A full schedule of events, and more information about the organization, can be found on our website.
