  • Take a Hike – Cleveland Take a Hike Tour in Cleveland
    Take a Hike offers six (FREE!) guided walking tours of distinct neighborhoods in downtown Cleveland! Weekly tours explore the Gateway District, University Circle, Warehouse District, Civic Center, Playhouse Square neighborhood and Canal Basin Park in the Flats. Each tour lasts approximately one and a half hours in length, and features actors and actresses portraying historic figures from Cleveland’s past. Check the website for the full schedule of tours.
  • South Town Cruise-In – Medina
    Join Main Street Medina for a weekly cruise-in in Medina’s South Town, Tuesday evenings, May 21-September 24th from 4-8pm at 233 Lafayette Rd (the former Hawkins Market parking lot, soon to be the new home of Medina County Habitat for Humanity). See some of the best classic, collectible, rat rod, hot rod, and muscle cars in Northeast Ohio, and enjoy classic tunes from the 1950-70’s with DJ Bruce. The South Town Cruise-In is free and open to the public.
  • Duck Drop Coloring Contest – Piqua
    Practice staying within the lines and support a great cause. Prizes are listed on each coloring page. Completed pages are due by 7/25. Winners will be announced at the Farmers Market on 8/1.
  • Yoga on East Green – Tiffin
    Stretch out and relax with Yoga Chuck each Saturday morning from 9 – 10 AM on downtown Tiffin’s East Green.

  • Wadsworth Fireworks! – Wadsworth
    Main Street Wadsworth will be full of fun and food for the annual Wadsworth Fireworks! You don’t want to miss this amazing event and all of the fun!
  • Patriot’s Band, Ice Cream, & a Major Award – Wellington
    Main Street Wellington has a lot to celebrate as they kick off the Independence Day celebrations. A free “Old Fashioned” Community Ice Cream Social will take place before representatives from Independent We Stand, Do It Best,and Stihl award Main Street Wellington the Grand Prize of $25,000+ for winning the America’s Main Street Contest. Following the award presentation, grab a seat on the lawn to enjoy a performance by the Patriot’s Symphonic Band. The band performs a variety of music: patriotic, musicals, marches, and more.

  • First Friday: Chalk it Up for Freedom – Delaware
    Main Street Delaware invites everyone to mark their calendars for the “Chalk It Up for Freedom!” First Friday sidewalk chalk art event. Come on down, bring your own chalk, and join us in decorating our downtown sidewalks with your artwork.
  • First Friday: Art Walk – Kent
    Explore special exhibits, enjoy demonstrations, snacks, hands-on activities and more in downtown Kent.
  • First Friday: Fine Art Walk – Marietta
    Explore historic downtown Marietta and experience fine art and performance art all throughout downtown.
  • First Friday: Red, White & Medina – Medina
    Grab your friends and head to historic Medina the first Friday of each month for an evening of socializing, dining, shopping, dancing, laughing, and merriment.
  • All American Heroes Weekend – Middletown
    Join Downtown Middletown for an action packed 2 day festival right here in Downtown Middletown! Featuring live music, games and fun for kids of all ages and special salutes to our heroes – home and away.
  • First Friday: Shops & Stars, & Stripes – Mount Vernon
    As we celebrate our own patriots and the ‘superheroes’ that defend our great nation, the COTC Central Ohio Technical College Superheroes will return to ‘marvel’ downtown Mount Vernon. Picture yourself at COTC and celebrate your inner superhero while you strike a pose with your favorite Action Hero. Children can enjoy artful mayhem, power-up games, flying giveaways and much more! In July, KCLF is premiering its new self-guided walking tour. Stop by their booth to get a free guide! Visit the classic cars at the Cruise In at First Friday.
  • First Friday: Dog Days of Summer – Painesville
    Come to Downtown Painesville to celebrate our pets. Participating merchants will have special treats and activities. You may even find some special gifts for your furry family members. Remember to take Fido to visit the classic cars at the car cruise downtown.
  • First Friday: Petting Zoo & Popcorn Too – Tipp City
    Downtown Tipp City will come alive with animals of all kinds. Stroll down Main Street with the entire family and spend your staycation with us! Kids of all ages will love getting to pet and learn about a variety of animals in an air-conditioned travel trailer. Pony rides, cotton candy, kettle corn, and face painting will be available as well.
  • Fountain Park Summer Music Series: Lima Symphony Pop Orchestra – Van Wert
    A Van Wert and LSO Independence Day tradition, the LSO Pops return to Fountain Park with an evening of pop music as well as inspirational and patriotic selections to help continue your 4th of July celebration. This year, the LSO Pops feature an exciting guest conductor who is sure to bring music to Fountain Park that will delight and inspire the entire family.
  • First Friday: Art in the Alleys & Non-Profit Night – Wadsworth
    Downtown Wadsworth has 4 unique alleys that are now activated with uniquely-strung Edison lights thanks to the City of Wadsworth, making them the perfect location for artists to set up and display their work! Wadsworth non-profits are also invited downtown to set up tables and connect with the community!

  • Red, White & Brews Bar Crawl – Marietta
    The Red, White & Brews Bar Crawl falls the weekend right after the Fourth of July and we invite you to join us downtown to celebrate! A variety of downtown bars will feature exclusive drink and craft beer specials just for ticket holders.
  • All American Heroes Weekend – Middletown

  • Summer on Winter Concert: Part II – Delaware
    Free, fun, outdoor summer concert series right here in our own historical Downtown Delaware! Part two of the series will feature The Reaganomics, who have been voted 614 Magazine’s “Best Cover Band” for the past 10 years in a row!

  • Ladies Night Out – Medina
    Round up your girlfriends and head to Medina for Ladies Night Out. Stroll the district for an evening of shopping, snacking, socializing, and fun.

  • Fridays on Prouty: Honey & Blue – Troy
    Honey & Blue, a self-described mix of pop, blues and soul, is fronted by singer/songwriters Adam Darling and Stephanie Amber. The duo recently released their second full length ‘All The Feels’. An album that showed listeners they refuse to be defined by any one genre. They have been featured on ABC 6 Good Morning Columbus, Broad and High (PBS), and are fresh off their first tour. The band is thrilled to back home and working on album number 3. In the meantime they are releasing the exciting Sonic Lounge Sessions, and singles to keep listeners engaged.
  • Fountain Park Summer Music Series: Waylon, Willie, & Cash – Outlaws & Highwaymen – Van Wert
    Enjoy an evening of hit songs featuring the music of Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, and Johnny Cash. This music defined a genre and a generation of country music. Backed by a stellar line up of professional recording artists and musicians from Nashville and Las Vegas, WWC features songs like On the Road Again, Ramblin Man, Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain, Luckenbach Texas, Walk the Line, A Boy Named Sue and many others.

  • Dog Day of Summer – Chardon
    Each summer, Chardon Square goes to the dogs for one afternoon! Dog-friendly activities, adoptables, experts, contests, and our annual pooch parade around the Square.
  • Downtown Summer Stroll – Tiffin
    Celebrate summer with a fun stroll around downtown Tiffin. Collect summer themed treats- think s’mores, sunglasses, frisbees & more while exploring all the downtown has to offer.
  • East Green Summer Concert Series: The Brian Fitzy Band Featuring PRISCA- Tiffin
    Brian Fitzy is a multi-talented, funky, fun-spirited artist with a R&B/soul-pop feel to his music. PRISCA is a soulful artist who is unapologetically showing all of her colors. Her magical versatility and strength as a vocalist, songwriter and piano player, create musical nuances that steal your breath as you experience her performance. 
  • 5th Annual Town Creek Live! – Van Wert
    Join Main Street Van Wert for art, gourmet food trucks, duck derby, activities, Cornhole tournament, Ax throwing, unique performers and outdoor music!
  • Arts Guild Sea & Shore Summer Show – Vermilion
    Spend an hour searching Sea & Shore, the summer exhibit at Vermilion Arts Guild. You’ll find seasonal type artwork from more than 40 local talents including watercolor, acrylic, oils, mix media, collage, photography, jewelry, ceramics, pottery, fiber art and more including items crafted from our best natural resource, Lake Erie Beach Glass.

  • Historic US Route 20 Update/Refresh – Painesville
    The Historic US Route 20 Association aims to promote travel along the original 1926 alignment of US Route 20. This alignment avoids interstate highways and bypasses. The organization wish to bring people back into small town America, to shop locally and support local businesses to boost economic development in communities that may be bypassed by interstate highways or other more popular routes. The Association offers educational programs to these communities and works with local organizations and community leaders to discuss and implement the placement of historic markers indicating the original route to guide travelers and bring much needed attention to many small towns. The goal is to make US Route 20 a popular alternative to its more famous cousin, Route 66.

  • Christmas in July – Mount Vernon
    Join us for the 2019 Mount Vernon Christmas Festival Auction! Support an annual holiday tradition in downtown Mount Vernon (as it gets a facelift!) all while gaining publicity for your business.   • Main Street Family Friday – Ravenna
    Main Street Ravenna and our friends from the Ravenna Parks and Recreation Department present Main Street Family Fridays featuring Movie’s on the Square. July’s movie is Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. The whole family can visit unique downtown merchants and great restaurants! There will be fun activities, specials, entertainment and more before the movies start at dusk on the square. Bring your blanket! This event is FREE!
  • Fridays on Prouty: Shannon Clark & The Sugar – Troy
    Described by many as “fun, soulful, energetic, and charming,” Shannon Clark and The Sugar is led by the super-talented Shannon Perry Clark, who can be as soulful as Al Green, and as hard-driving as John Fogerty, all in the same breath; and is somehow able to connect the energy of both genres and many others with power and authority.
  • Fountain Park Summer Music Series: Satisfaction – The International Rolling Stones Show- Van Wert
    This Billboard & Pollstar listed show is now in its eighth year of production with over 1500 performances. The highly acclaimed production showcases the most authentic cast and costuming of its kind. The likes of Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, and cast bring a colorful performance to over 45 years of classic hits. They are featured in Rolling Stone, Showbiz Magazine, Las Vegas Today, CBS Sunday Morning news and hundreds of national newspapers, magazines, television and radio as the world’s greatest show honoring the Rolling Stones and their legacy.

  • East Green Summer Concert Series: Sunday Funday- Tiffin
    Lost State of Franklin headlines July’s Sunday Funday. They are pure Americana, born in foothills and surviving the cities. Lost State of Franklin is glory and grit, dirt roads and triumph, gone days and tomorrow’s dream, overcoming and succeeding when no one expects you still exist. They are the story of lost love and a love you’ll never leave, coal mines and shiny cars, rusted trucks and relentless steam trains.

    Opening for Lost State of Franklin are The Shazzbots, an intergalactic rock band and champions of music, art and all things creative, blast off for adventure in their Space Winnebago, to spread their rockin’ tunes to all the children of the cosmos!

  • Wobbly Wizard Bar Crawl – Kent
    The Wizardly Weekend now includes the first ever Wobbly Wizard Bar Crawl! Meet up with friends and have fun pictures taken in costume, then head out on the town for a magical evening in downtown Kent. Participants will be able to enjoy specials on Magic Hat beer and Pura Still beverages, and “magic potion” shots at over ten participating locations.
  • The Race That Shall Not Be Named 5 3/4 K – Kent
    Magic Folk! On your mark — get set — RUN LIKE YOU’RE NOT SURE WHERE YOU’RE GOING! This year marks the 2nd annual Run That Shall Not Be Named 5 3/4k fun run!
  • Final Friday: Game & Non-Profit Night – Troy
    Come t0 historic downtown Troy to play games of all kinds for all ages and to learn about local non-profit organizations. With over 30 organizations and businesses participating, this is sure to be a fun-filled evening.
  • Fountain Park Summer Music Series: Van Wert Area Community Band- Van Wert
    The Van Wert Area Community Band is a group of musicians of all ages who enjoy playing their instruments and making music.

    Join Main Street Kent for this magical event! Enjoy live entertainment, street vending, magical treats, fun decorations, costume contests, food trucks, photo opportunities, activities, and more in the heart of downtown Kent.
  • Thunderfest Cruise In – Middletown
    Calling all classic cars, hot rods, street rods, rat roads, pulling tractors, motorcycles, Jeeps and MORE! Hourly cackle fest – ear plugs recommended! Come spend the day exploring unique cars, boutiques and eateries in historic Downtown Middletown!
  • The Wine & Dine Walk – Portsmouth
    Stroll through historic downtown Portsmouth for a day of delicious foods and pairings of wine.
  • East Green Summer Concert Series: Papo Ruiz & Sweet Salsa- Tiffin
    Head downtown for a concert with a little Latin flair. Papo Ruiz y la Dulzura de la Salsa was formed in the Summer of 2006. They are an 13 Piece Salsa band. Their primary music style is Salsa and Latin Jazz.

  • Thunder Over Holmes County – Millersburg

    Thunder Over Holmes County will be held June 30th and July 1st, 2017.  The Beer Garden includes 5 different Beers on Tap and Live entertainment on stage both days including Gold Fish Racing!  When the lights go down the fun continues with our fire works display at 9:45 and the bands will continue to play well into the night  Food Vendors will be on hand on the Courthouse Lawn to fill you with BBQ, Frozen Bananas and plenty more.  The shops are open and just waiting for you to stroll in and enjoy all they have to offer.  We look forward to seeing you in “The Burg”!

  • Knowing Your Home: Windows 201 – Lakewood

    Join LakewoodAlive and Lakewood Hardware for our first ever hands-on window repair workshop. This workshop is the second window workshop of the season. Repairing a window is not only energy efficient but it also helps to keep the historic look and feel of your wonderful home. Rotted frames, deteriorated sashes and leaking air can generally be fixed in window restoration — even a rotting window isn’t necessarily too far gone for restoration.

  • WCHS Summer Community Band Concert – Wooster

    Wayne County Historical Society Summer Community Band is presenting a concert in front of “Everything Rubbermaid” in Downtown Wooster. They will be playing “fun” songs – marches, show tunes, and patriotic songs!

  • Painesville Farm & Flea – Painesville

    Downtown Painesville, in partnership with the Cleveland Bazaar, will be hosting its very first Painesville Farm & Flea on July 22, 2017, at 177 Main Street, Painesville, Ohio. The Flea hours are from 9 AM to 2 PM. Enjoy live entertainment and food trucks as you experience area handmade, vintage, farm, food, and artistic vendors.

  • Pizza Palooza & Family Movie Night – Tiffin

    Pizza aficionados, head over to downtown Tiffin for a celebration of pizza! Half of each ticket sold will go toward downtown revitalization.

    A screening of Disney blockbuster hit, Moana will begin at dusk. Attendees are invited to bring their own chairs or blankets to enjoy the show.

    The annual Farm to Table will be held on Lake Erie College’s Historic Campus. This year’s event will include food prepared by local chefs pared with local wines and beers. Music by Justo Saborit.
