    Visit the annual Christmas Light Show in historic downtown Cambridge.
  • Dickens Victorian Village – Cambridge
    Take a trip back in time and experience old world England at historic downtown Cambridge, Ohio. It is charmingly transformed into a Dickens Victorian Village each holiday season. From November through December each year, visitors are invited to stroll amidst over 92 scenes of 180 lifelike figures representing classic scenes from the Victorian era. This innovative public art exhibition is enjoyed by families, couples, and groups alike – an experience that engages the senses as you explore the charming streetscape, striking historic architecture, and eclectic shops and eateries of Cambridge.
  • Stop, Shop, & Drop 20 – Chardon
    Chardon Tomorrow is challenging everyone to spend $20 at a locally-owned and operated business this holiday season. It’s time to give back to the local businesses who help sustain our local economy, donate to our organizations, and create our unparalleled sense of community.
  • Visit with Santa and Take a Horse-Drawn Carriage Ride – Delaware
    Get into the holiday cheer in historic downtown Delaware with horse-drawn carriage rides and visits from Santa. See events for times and dates.
  • Pour with a Purpose – Cleveland
    Brrrr, it’s cold outside! Join the Gateway and Warehouse Districts to raise money to provide monthly appreciation (hot drinks and refreshments) to our neighborhood clean and safe ambassadors during the winter months. Learn more via the link and support a worth cause.
  • North Pole Express – Lebanon
    Experience the magic of a train ride with Santa himself. During your hour long journey, Santa and his elves will make their way through the train to visit with each family. Celebrate with festive elves and holiday music while enjoying your hot chocolate and cookie. Every child will receive a bell from Santa’s sleigh.
  • Visit Santa’s House and Tour Downtown Marietta in a Carriage – Marietta
    Take a free carriage ride through historic downtown Marietta and stop by to see Santa to let him know what you want for Christmas this year. See events for times and dates.
  • Downtown Tiffin Holiday Cash Give-A-Way – Tiffin
    Shop at participating businesses Nov 15 – Dec 21 and enter to win $1000 cash. No limit to number of entries! Each participating business will also pick a winner from their entries to receive a $100 gift card to their business. Winners will be drawn Sunday, December 22 at noon at the Court House Square.
  • Downtown Tiffin Holiday Window Contest – Tiffin
    Help Downtown Tiffin celebrate the Holidays with a downtown tiffin window contest! Stop by the participating businesses and vote for your favorite. Voting begins November 30 on Small Business Saturday and ends December 5th. Winner announced at the Christmas tree Lighting on December 6th.

  • Vermilion Arts Guild Holiday Show – Vermilion

    Story Mobs are a little bit different than our normal Cash Mobs. Participants aren’t expected to shop, unless they want to! Instead, Story Mobbers will hear backstories about each participating business directly from the business owner. Mobbers will enjoy refreshments, live demos, sneak peeks, behind-the-scenes tours, and/or more thanks to each of our *surprise* participating locations!

    Join Chardon Tomorrow as they light up the square for Christmas! Along with the colorful lights, they will have live music and a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus! Cider and ginger snaps are served throughout the evening.

  • Home for the Holidays Weekend – Delaware
    Main Street Delaware brings you a holiday to remember! Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony at 6:30 pm.  Join other families and feel the sense of love and community as we light our magnificent Christmas Tree at the corner of William and Sandusky Streets. Delaware’s tree lighting is a magical experience. Other Friday night highlights include: – Horse-drawn carriage rides $1 per person, over the age of 5 – Life-sized snow globe – Frozen themed bounce house – Visits with Santa – Carolers and live musical performances – Magic and kids activities – Shopping and store specials
  • First Friday: Art Walk – Kent
    Explore special exhibits, enjoy demonstrations, snacks, hands-on activities and more in downtown Kent.
  • First Friday: Moonlight Madness – Marietta
    December’s First Friday is a favorite for all of Marietta to enjoy! Shops are open EXTRA late for Moonlight Madness, some staying open straight through ’til midnight! Participating stores will each have a savings bucket filled with snowballs, each marked with a discount percentage ranging from 10% to 50%. Shoppers can select their merchandise and at the checkout, select a snowball for their surprise discount! Every single shopper will enjoy a discount at all participating locations throughout this entire Hometown Holidays events.     Downtown is getting HOT for our December First Friday! No matter the temperature outside, we will warm you up with a dozen or more Hot Chocolate Stops! Pick up your Passport Guide in Governor’s Square (corner of Central and Broad) to learn all of the tasty stops! Get stamped at each stop to be entered to win FREE HOT CHOCOLATE FOR A YEAR, thanks to our friends at Triple Moon Coffee Company and Mockingbirds! The event is family friendly but there will be “Boozy” & Delish Hot Chocolates options or mixers available for purchase at some stops for our 21+ friends.
  • Mount Vernon Christmas Festival – Mount Vernon
    The festivities downtown kick off in downtown Mount Vernon with Lights & Carols at 7:00 P.M. Santa arrives in style with a ride from Knox Motor Group. He starts the festivities by lighting the tree on the Public Square. After this, local musical groups will lead a Christmas Music sing along.
  • Christmas on the Green – Piqua

    Join Downtown Tipp City at the Zion Lutheran Church for the illumination of the Downtown Christmas Tree! This is a fun and festive event for all ages! Enjoy tunes from the Community Band, sing along with the Tipp City High School Choir, or snack on some delicious treats.

    Tour 8 historical Downtown Wooster churches in one evening. At each church, participants can sing a Christmas carol, hear a bit of the church’s history & admire their Christmas decorations.

    Help the less fortunate this holiday season and visit with Santa, Mrs. Claus and the gang from the North Pole in historic downtown Cambridge! Pre-registration is required and admission is by donation, either monetary or a non-perishable food item listed on the event page. All items will be donated to the Grace Pantry to help stock their shelves.
  • Home for the Holidays Weekend – Delaware
    Main Street Delaware brings you a holiday to remember! Dash for Dasher Scavenger Hunt – Santa has lost Dasher! Explore downtown Delaware following Santa’s clues to find him and have fun along the way. Main Street Delaware will collect a voluntary monetary donation or a box of cereal for our local food pantries. Holiday Shopping Extravaganza! Shop downtown Delaware stores with holiday specials, deals or snacks! Participate by getting a stamp at each store you make a purchase, turn in your card for a chance to win Chocolate Walk tickets!
  • The Holiday Marietta Marketplace – Marietta
    The Holiday Marietta Marketplace is a unique, mobile curated market showcasing the products of local and regional vendors and small businesses.   • Downtown Holiday Open House – Portsmouth
    A follow up to Small Business Saturday, the Holiday Open House welcomes everyone to downtown Portsmouth to continue holiday shopping at local businesses. Downtown businesses will offer various discounts and sales, along with other holiday treats, for shoppers.   • Downtown Tiffin Christmas Walk – Tiffin
    Looking for a fun way to explore downtown Tiffin? The downtown Christmas Walk is a perfect way to see all the great downtown shops! For $20, your ticket allows you to visit participating location and collect a unique treat. There are typically 20-25 stops in the downtown area. Get a group of friends together and wear your walking shoes! Prior to the walk, $35 VIP ticket holders will enjoy a brunch at the Empire 138.
  • The Christmas Tree Ship – Vermilion
    No other community can boast a Christmas tradition like this one. Main Street Vermilion invites everyone, young and old, to bundle up and gather riverside at McGarvey’s Landing for the arrival of The Christmas Tree Ship!

    Main Street Delaware brings you a holiday to remember! Holiday Parade – The Post Office also be on hand to collect your letters to Santa along the parade route!
  • Mount Vernon Christmas Festival – Mount Vernon
    The theme of this year’s Christmas parade is “Christmas in the Movies” and will include prize categories as in previous years. The parade route will come up South Main Street, around the square, and continue up North Main Street ending at the Living Center. Many local restaurants will be open for refreshments before and after the parade.
  • Tour of Lofts – Portsmouth
    Main Street Portsmouth is bringing back a classic this holiday season with the Tour of Lofts. The tour is a casual Sunday stroll through various downtown Portsmouth loft apartments that highlight ingenuity and modern creative design that complements the lifestyle of living in a dearly loved, but old and storied, space in the heart of downtown.

    The Ugly Sweater Tavern Trek starts at the Venice Cafe (163 W. Attendees may visit as many or as few locations as they wish. All ticket holders will be entered in a raffle prize drawing. Prizes will also be awarded randomly throughout the evening for the “Ugliest Sweaters” worn by attendees.   • Main Street Program Partners in Preservation Open House – Painesville
    American Express and the National Trust for Historic Preservation are teaming up to grant $2 million in preservation funding, and College Hall has been chosen as a potential site! You can help Downtown Painesville by voting for us on http://voteyourmainstreet.org, and by attending this Open House event. This open house event will welcome guests into the main entrance area of College Hall to see the vision for upgrades and renovation through conceptual renderings, working toward the preservation of this historic treasure. Historical documents and artifacts will be on display that relate to the Woman Suffrage Movement and the rich history of the college and Painesville community.

  • Walking Tour: The Fine Art of Dying IV – Piqua
    This tour will take in areas not covered before and provide an insight into the burial customs and artistic carvings used in Piqua. The symbols used in the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries such as the lamb, the rose and the urn will be reviewed and explained. The cemetery is a place of traditions and innovations, of massive memorials and small remembrances and examples of old world markers and new world adaptions. Tour is led by local historian Jim Oda.
  • HarvestFest – Tipp City
    Join Downtown Tipp City for a celebration of fall with music, food, and fun! Enjoy a Saturday evening in beautiful historic Downtown Tipp City, and listen to rockin’ tunes by The Big Wazu, enjoy frosty beverages or join in on the costume contest.     The virus has spread and the undead will be out on Wheeling Ave. The “antidote” can be found various spots in downtown Cambridge. This 21+ event is sure to be fun. Admission includes the “antidote” stops, admission to Hells Height’s Haunted House and a souvenir.
  • Clean Up Kent – Kent
    Time for fall cleaning in the City of Kent! Come to the Destination Kent CVB/Visitor Centre to pick up supplies and choose a spot on the map for your group to work. Enjoy a cup of coffee and a donut (while they last), then head out to Clean Up Kent!
  • Fall Clean Sweep – Marietta
    This day of volunteerism requires all hands on deck to support beautification efforts downtown! Many hands make light work, and Marietta Main Street need as much help as they can muster from local groups, residents, and visitors alike!
  • Peoples Bank Theatre Family Trick or Treat Festival – Marietta
    Starting at 5 pm,  a section of Putnam Street will be closed for the little ones to enjoy a street party filled with jumpy houses, food and soda, and more! Then, when you need a break from the gut-busting good time outside, you can enter the not-so-spooky haunted house and enjoy carnival games! However, once the sun begins to set at 7 pm, the ghouls will come out. For all of you young adults looking for a spooktacular time, join  enjoy the Disco Monster Mash, and a night-time of scares! There will be a DJ, costume contests, drinks & snacks, games, prizes, and more!

  • Take a Hike – Cleveland

    Take a Hike offers five (FREE!) guided walking tours of distinct neighborhoods in downtown Cleveland! Weekly tours explore the Gateway District, Warehouse District, Civic Center, Playhouse Square neighborhood and Canal Basin Park in the Flats. Each tour lasts approximately one and a half hours in length, and features actors and actresses portraying historic figures from Cleveland’s past. Check the website for the full schedule of tours.

  • Thunder Over Holmes County – Millersburg

    Thunder Over Holmes County will be held June 30th and July 1st, 2017.  The Beer Garden includes 5 different Beers on Tap and Live entertainment on stage both days including Gold Fish Racing!  When the lights go down the fun continues with our fire works display at 9:45 and the bands will continue to play well into the night  Food Vendors will be on hand on the Courthouse Lawn to fill you with BBQ, Frozen Bananas and plenty more.  The shops are open and just waiting for you to stroll in and enjoy all they have to offer.  We look forward to seeing you in “The Burg”!
