Downtown Revitalization is never an easy endeavor, but for communities striving for a healthy and vibrant urban core, there are many tools available. One of the most effective tools is the Revitalization District Liquor Permit Designation. Pioneered by Main Street Wooster and the City of Wooster with assistance from Heritage Ohio, this legislation allows a downtown to access more liquor permits than would otherwise be available, thus making restaurant retention and attraction a considerably easier prospect.
