  • First Friday: Ladies Night – Cambridge

    Head to downtown Cambridge and enjoy an evening of shopping and fun, including a delicious wine tasting in area stores. For every $25 spent downtown Cambridge on April 6th, you will receive an entry into our basket drawing.

  • First Friday: Spring-O – Delaware

    It’s time to celebrate Spring in downtown Delaware, and this year you have the opportunity to play Spring-O, a fun twist on Bingo. Pick up your card, visit downtown stores to collect stamps, and all cards with 5 stamps in a row are entered to win some fabulous prizes!

  • First Friday: Marietta’s Birthday Party – Marietta

    April’s First Friday is Marietta’s Birthday Party. Cake, celebration, & history! Our community will join together to share our love for Marietta, who is turning 230 years old in 2018!

  • Downtown Tipp City Easter Egg Hunt – Tipp City

    Come out for this FREE Family Friendly First Friday event! Downtown Tipp City Partnership will have historic scavenger hunt cards that you can pick up at the Tipp City Public Library the week leading up to the event, or day of, where the Easter Bunny will be hanging out and taking pictures (Starting at 5pm)! Your historic scavenger hunt cards will give you clues about each building where your Easter eggs will be throughout town!

  • First Friday: Once Upon a Time – Wadsworth

    Your favorite books, movies, and plays come to life in downtown Wadsworth. Kids can wear their princess or superhero costumes for a chance to win prizes. Get photos taken with characters. Favorite ideas are fairy tales, superheroes, classic literature, Broadway, Alice in Wonderland, and Harry Potter. Scroll through downtown and enjoy the event while dining and shopping!

  • 2nd Annual Chocolate Walk – Lebanon

    Enjoy 20 delicious chocolate treats in historic downtown Lebanon. Following the Chocolate Walk, enjoy a chocolate, wine, and beer reception with live music.

  • First Settlement Festival – Marietta

    To mark the occasion of Marietta’s 230th Birthday in April 2018, in partnership with The Adelphia Music Hall, we are excited to announce a brand new music festival in downtown Marietta on Saturday, April 7th: First Settlement Festival. First Settlement Festival is a daylong outdoor music festival that takes place all throughout downtown Marietta. The Main Stage Lot will include a beer garden featuring craft beer by Marietta Brewing Co.. as well as merchandise tents and more for the community to enjoy. What’s the best part? Enjoying music at First Settlement Festival is totally free and open to the public!

  • Spring Shop Hop – Tipp City

    Let’s kick off those Winter blues and welcome in April with the Shopkeeper’s Spring Shop Hop! Punch cards can be picked up around town on Saturday, April 7th! As you “hop” around town receive a unique stamp from each location. When your card is full turn it in at any participating business for a chance to win our grand prize basket of Tipp City goodies!

  • Second Saturday: Chardon’s Traveling Tea Party – Chardon

    Join Chardon Tomorrow for an early evening of shopping and entertaining as we kick off our Second Saturday events with a “Traveling Tea Party.” The afternoon starts at 4 pm at the Heritage House where you can pick up your tea cup, raffle ticket, and schedule of events. Then shop ’til you drop from 4-7 pm with participating shops throughout the city offering special treats and promotions.
    Registration for the event is $10 and limited to the first 200 guests. Each guest will receive a ceramic mug and goody bag to use as they shop the square and stop at participating shops! Guests are automatically entered into a raffle for a Tea Party gift basket. Additional raffle tickets will be given for each $10 spent at a participating retailer/restaurant.

  • Knowing Your Home Workshop: Step Repair & Replacement – Lakewood

    Join LakewoodAlive and our friends over at Cleveland Lumber Company for a workshop dedicated to exterior step repairs and replacement.
    We will review the anatomy of steps as well as common stair repairs. The remainder of the workshop will be focused on materials ( wood vs. composite), routine maintenance to keep them in good repair as well as answer your questions to ensure that your project will be completed with success.

  • Seven Courses of Kent – Kent

    Main Street Kent will host the annual “Seven Courses of Kent” dinner party in downtown Kent. This special event will take place at Treno Ristorante, an upscale Italian restaurant situated in the historical train depot overlooking the Cuyahoga River. Guests will enjoy a variety of soup, salad, hors d’oeuvre, entrée and dessert courses from these seven Kent establishments: Burnside Barbecue, Franklin Hotel Bar, Lucci’s Place, NINETEEN10, Twisted Meltz, Popped!, Treno Ristorante. It’s a great opportunity to indulge in some of Kent’s best cuisine, all in one night!

  • Historic Preservation Tax Credit Coffees – St. Clairsville, Woodsfield, Caldwell, & McConnelsville

    Have you been wondering about historic tax credit programs here in Ohio? Wondering about the application and review process? Here is an easy introduction to the 20% federal historic tax credit and 25% Ohio historic preservation tax credit which you can use to rehabilitate your historic building. Come chat at a quick informal get together to learn about how the historic tax credit programs work and meet the people who manage them.

  • Knowing Your Home Workshop: How to Contract a Repair – Lakewood

    This workshop will focus on the process of working with a home repair/improvement contractor. We will start with the basics of understanding your repair and then work our way through the process of getting estimates, scheduling the job and then making sure the repair has been completed in a workmanlike manner ensuring a well done job. The goal of this presentation is to help remove the guess work from the daunting task of home repair and improvement projects, getting the work done correctly the first time, saving your precious time, sanity and money.

  • Vermilion in Bloom Gardeners’ Fair – Vermilion

    The 14th Annual Vermilion in Bloom Gardener’s Fair will bring the sights and smells of spring to Sailorway Middle School. Shop for flowers and plants from local growers, unique planters, garden art, fairy gardens, one-of-a-kind original art, soaps and lotions and more!

  • Rust Belt Takeover – Columbus

    The Young Ohio Preservationists (YOPs) are hosting the Rust Belt Takeover of Columbus, April 27-29. Exclusive tours of several historic locations including German Village, Fort Hayes, and Rush Creek Village.

  • Guys in Bloom – Vermilion

    Guys in Bloom is the first ever, manly event that’s all about cigars, wine and flowers. Fifty gets you two hand-rolled cigars, 2 drinks, tapas and entry into the putting contest. Hosted by the Wine Vault, which will be closed for this event, the menu features a cheese and meat charcuterie board, mini crawfish crab cakes and pork belly sliders with apple slaw.
    Don’t wait…this is you chance to hang with the guys all in the name of flowers. This is a Vermilion in Bloom fundraiser and all of the proceeds will be donated to this Main Street Vermilion beautification program.
