Recurring Events

  • Take a Hike – Cleveland

    Take a Hike offers six (FREE!) guided walking tours of distinct neighborhoods in downtown Cleveland! Weekly tours explore the Gateway District, University Circle, Warehouse District, Civic Center, Playhouse Square neighborhood and Canal Basin Park in the Flats. Each tour lasts approximately one and a half hours in length, and features actors and actresses portraying historic figures from Cleveland’s past. Check the website for the full schedule of tours.

  • Picnic with the Police & Super Hero Day – Cambridge

    Join Cambridge Main Street, local law enforcement, and members of the Southeaster Ohio Ghostbusters for Picnic with the Police. Kids are invited to dress up as their favorite super hero and participate in the super hero training camp. DJ Huffy will play your favorite music, enjoy a hot dog, and have a great time!

  • Concert in the Park & Movie Night – Chardon

    Enjoy an evening of music at Chardon Courthouse Square followed by a screening of Top Gun.

  • First Friday: Cops & Shops – Delaware

    Head downtown and celebrate Delaware’s local heroes! There will be food, activities for children, and vehicles to explore.

  • First Friday: Art Walk – Kent

    Join us for the First Friday Art Walk in downtown Kent! All participating galleries and businesses will stay open until at least 8pm on the first Friday of each month, for all to come enjoy and explore the artwork inside their businesses. Enjoy refreshments, enter in special drawings, view artist demonstrations and participate in activities throughout the downtown district.

  • Front Porch Concert Series – Lakewood

    Join LakewoodAlive on Friday evenings from 7-9 pm this summer for LakewoodAlive’s Front Porch Concert Series! This week features The Corner Store Funk Band. This fun-loving group is sure to delight the audience with a danceable form of music that blends soul, jazz, and rhythm & blues. Attendees are encouraging to bring their family, friends, blankets, chairs and snacks for an entertaining evening at this open-air venue.

  • First Friday: Once Upon a Time – Marietta

    This kid-friendly event is themed for our favorite storybook characters, movies, novels, and more.

  • First Friday: Hometown Heroes – Middletown

    Help us celebrate Middletown’s own Hometown Heroes! Spend an evening with our Police & Fire Department, First Responders and local veterans and soldiers! Police cruisers, fire trucks, k-9 units and more will be there. A chance for the community to meet & greet the men and women who protect us every day. Come show your appreciation. Kids young and old are encouraged to dress up like their favorite heroes!

  • Movie Night: Wonder Woman – Middletown

    Head to downtown Middletown and watch Wonder Woman following First Friday.

  • First Friday: Family Fun Night – Mount Vernon

    Get ready to celebrate those lazy, hazy, crazy days of summer with Main Street Mount Vernon. MSMV invites you to explore historic downtown Mount Vernon through live entertainment, classic car cruise-in during June, July, and August, and a variety of local food and shopping, kids’ entertainment, a beer garden, and more.

    Bring your brood to “Family Fun Night”. Kids’ Choice Youth Band will take the main stage with Andrew & Sarah on the South Stage at Buchwald Plaza.

  • First Friday: Putt-Putt Downtown – Tipp City

    Join Downtown Tipp City Partnership for the first annual Putt-Putt adventure course through the shops of Downtown Tipp City! Each participating shop will have their own unique Putt-Putt hole to challenge you along your way. This is family friendly and we encourage everyone to come decked out in your best golf gear!

  • Van Wert Area Community Band Concert – Van Wert

    An evening filled with local talent, the Van Wert Area Community Concert Band performing at Fountain Park.

  • Free Movies in the Park: Hotel for Dogs – Vermilion

    Main Street Vermilion brings another season of free, family-friendly flicks under the stars and riverside at East Exchange Park in the heart of downtown Vermilion. Bring a lawn chair or blanket and your favorite movie snacks.

    In Hotel for Dogs, a foster home that doesn’t allow pets finds 16-year old Andi and her younger brother Bruce turning an abandoned hotel into a home for their dog.

    Help us celebrate Main Street’s upcoming Hot Diggity Dog Day tonight with a dog craft and a few friendly dogs, including Ben, the Main Street Vermilion greeter to welcome you to the movie.

  • First Friday: Hot Air Balloons & BBQ – Wadsworth

    The kick-off to Wadsworth’s Balloon Festival weekend. Get up close to a tethered hot air balloon and baskets. Enjoy barbecue at downtown restaurants and vendors, including The American Legion’s famous Pig Roast.

  • Antiques in the Alley – Millersburg

    A full day of browsing the streets, stores and alleys of Millersburg for the perfect treasure to take home. Whether you are looking for artwork, yard art, glassware or antique dresser, it can be found here! Stop for lunch at a pub or street vendor-spend the night at one of our hotels or inns-make a weekend of it! Entertainment will abound after dark!

  • Down a River, Down a Beer – Piqua

    99 Craft beers available for tasting, food vendors, and live music!

  • Chardon Arts Festival – Chardon

    This juried, outdoor show is free to attend and will host over 100 artists both local and out of state, providing a wonderful opportunity for a day of shopping and dining in a park like-setting.

  • Rivers, Trails, & Ales Festival – Marietta

    Join us for the 8th Annual Rivers, Trails and Ales Festival in historic downtown Marietta! A full weekend of road and mountain biking, paddling, hiking, trail running, regional craft beers, shenanigans, and general hometown FUN!

    Come find out why National Geographic Adventure Magazine rated Marietta #1 in Ohio for outdoor adventure! Marietta is home to a vibrant outdoor community with hundreds of miles of single-track, multiple rivers and streams and a beautiful historic downtown to tie it all together. Come on down. You might just want to stay for a while!

    The Rivers, Trails and Ales Festival is a family-friendly event open to participants of all ability levels. Most events of the weekend are free to attendees.

  • Front Porch Concert Series – Lakewood

    Join LakewoodAlive on Friday evenings from 7-9 pm this summer for LakewoodAlive’s Front Porch Concert Series! This week features FireSide Lakewood, a local quintet that has amassed a large following by playing both classic and current rock tunes in our own acoustic interpretations. Attendees are encouraging to bring their family, friends, blankets, chairs and snacks for an entertaining evening at this open-air venue.

  • Fridays on Prouty – Troy

    Fridays on Prouty is a free concert series and is a collaboration of the Troy-Hayner Cultural Center and Troy Main Street. This week, a Steely Dan tribute band will take the stage for the Fridays on Prouty concert series. This 10-piece Ohio based group called AJA came together to recreate the sounds of one of rock’s most legendary and enigmatic bands with stunning precision and energy. They lay down a tight and groovy rhythm section that handles the full spectrum of Steely beats from “Bodhisattva” to “Babylon Sisters” all with swing and precision.

  • Hidden Spaces – Van Wert

    Hidden Spaces is back! You’ll access to some of the great Hidden Spaces just steps off the sidewalk in Downtown Van Wert.

  • Remember When Rock Was Young Concert – Van Wert

    Craig A. Meyer and the Rocket Band will make you believe you are almost at an Elton John concert. Meyer has toured internationally and recorded with the likes of Frankie Valli and Barry Manilow and has headlined for Princess Cruises around the world. You’ll party into the night as we close out the Fountain Park concerts in a guaranteed flashy style! All Fountain Park Summer Music Series concerts are free & open to the public.

  • Free Movies in the Park: Moana – Vermilion

    Main Street Vermilion brings another season of free, family-friendly flicks under the stars and riverside at East Exchange Park in the heart of downtown Vermilion. Bring a lawn chair or blanket and your favorite movie snacks.

    In Ancient Polynesia, when a terrible curse incurred by the Demigod Maui reaches Moana’s island, she answers the Ocean’s call to seek out the Demigod to set things right.

  • Flashback Reunion Dance – Cambridge

    Cambridge Main Street presents a reunion dance! Looking for a way to reconnect with classmates or friends while enjoying classic music? Join us for our Reunion Dance! In town for the Salt Fork Festival? Come spend your Saturday evening with us!

  • Chardon BrewFest – Chardon

    Join us for Chardon’s 7th Annual BrewFest! With over 25 local brewers, onsite food, and fantastic music–it’s summer event that can’t be missed!

  • Run for Suds 5K – Chardon

    The Run for Suds 5k is back again as part of the Chardon Brewfest celebration! Start your day off right with a scenic run through Chardon before heading to The Brewfest. This race features finishers medals, tank tops, and a great spread of food at the finish line compliments of Heinen’s.

  • Wooster Festa Italiana – Wooster

    Come enjoy Italian heritage, food, local artists and crafts, games, concerts and more, as we celebrate the Italian presence in Wooster and Wayne County, which dates back to the second half of the 19th century.

  • Paws in the Park Pawty – Wooster

    5th Annual Pawty for Dog Swimming and Dog Walking, but mostly all the dogs and their owners swim all afternoon. Chicken dinners, hot dog baskets, ice cream treats, and DJ, with so much more!

  • Front Porch Concert Series – Lakewood

    Join LakewoodAlive on Friday evenings from 7-9 pm this summer for LakewoodAlive’s Front Porch Concert Series! This week features Mr. Eric’s Music, a longtime musician who will perform a fun and interactive music program catered towards children. Attendees are encouraging to bring their family, friends, blankets, chairs and snacks for an entertaining evening at this open-air venue.

  • August Cruise In – Wooster

    Main Street Wooster presents our final Concert & Cruise In of the summer. The Cruise In will feature live music from “GL Band.” Food vendors will be on-site with classic cars and street rods.

  • Cambridge Cruise In Car Show – Cambridge

    Cars and trucks of every shape and size will line Wheeling Ave during the 33rd annual Cambridge Cruise In Car Show.

  • Hops in the Hangar – Middletown

    The First Annual Hops in the Hangar is a unique, craft beer aficionado’s event that will surely take flight at the Middletown Regional Airport. Gathering a blend of craft beer fans and aviation enthusiasts in an airplane hangar, Hops in the Hangar will be an EPIC event here in the tri-state area.

    Beer has never looked so cool as being served in a huge, operating airport hangar- talk about unique ambiance! Hops in the Hangar will feature a wide selection of beer from breweries big and small and showcase a variety of aircraft. The professional skydivers jumping overhead will create an experience few will forget. The evening will be packed with beers, planes, food trucks, music and more.

  • Vermilion Harbour Triathlon & Duathlon – Vermilion

    Hundreds of athletes and spectators descend upon Vermilion to compete in this annual event that tests physical endurance. So whether you’re racing for an overall title or giving multisport racing a try for the first time, the Vermilion Harbour Triathlon/Duathlon is for YOU! The event takes place at Sherod Park, an ideal location for every stage of these swim/bike/run events.

Krivda, now in his fifth decade as a performer, will bring his trademark jazz sound to the stage.  Attendees are encouraging to bring their family, friends, blankets, chairs and snacks for an entertaining evening at this open-air venue.

  • Fridays on Prouty – Troy

    Fridays on Prouty is a free concert series and is a collaboration of the Troy-Hayner Cultural Center and Troy Main Street. This week, enjoy a concert from Hey There Morgan.

  • The Donut Jam – Troy

    Join us in downtown Troy for the sweetest weekend in Ohio! The Donut Jam offers a weekend of music, drinks, and fun.

  • Sounds of Downtown – Wooster

    Come stroll along to wonderful music in Downtown Wooster. Main Street Wooster presents “Sounds of Downtown!” This street music series will feature a variety of musicians and performances throughout the summer season. This session of Sounds of Downtown features Ed Marthey~Piano To Go and Jeremy Clevenger acoustic.

August 25

  • The Great Marietta Marketplace – Marietta

    The Great Marietta Marketplace is a unique, mobile-curated market showcasing the products of local and regional vendors and small businesses. This outdoor marketplace is located just footsteps from downtown, providing visitors the opportunity to browse booths of art, quality handcrafts, vintage goods, and much more!

  • Medina Fest – Medina

    In celebration of the 200th birthday of the City of Medina, Main Street Medina will hold Medina Fest on Saturday, August 25th, from 9am to 4pm. The event will feature a full day of fun, food, music, and activities, celebrating all things Medina! The event is sponsored by PNC, and is admission free.

    Scheduled entertainment will feature Rick Gaudet (acoustic guitar), Jim Gill (guitar), Grady Miller (americana & blues), Swizzle Stick Band (motown/funk), and Danjo Orchestra (big band).

    A Made in Medina showcase bazaar will feature local businesses and artists promoting/selling products made in Medina.

  • Home Grown Tomato Fest – Tipp City

    Head downtown to Canal Lock Park for the 2nd Annual Home Grown Tomato Fest, where tomatoes are the center of attention and all activities are BYOT (bring your own tomato). Local bartenders will be facing off as we see who will be known for having the Best Bloody Mary. This adults only portion of the fest will take place inside the historic Roller Mill. Purchase your tickets to sample and vote. Along with drinks, there will be food trucks offering tomato inspired eats.

  • Trans Am Nationals Cruise-In – Tipp City

    Old Tippecanoe presents the 22nd Annual Trans Am Nationals Cruise-In! FREE for the public to attend and see the cars! Fun Till 9 pm. Trophies Awarded, 50/50 Drawing, Restaurants, Entertainment, Shopping, Walking Tour, and DJ.

  • The Donut Jam – Troy

    Join us in downtown Troy for the sweetest weekend in Ohio! The Donut Jam offers a weekend of music, drinks, and fun.

  • Taste of Wadsworth – Wadsworth

    One of the largest traditional events, experience the best of Wadsworth at Taste of Wadsworth. There will be 25 food vendors, kids activity, face painting, magician, live music and more! Mark your calendars and stay tuned for more information!

  • Front Porch Concert Series – Lakewood

    Join LakewoodAlive on Friday evenings from 7-9 pm this summer for LakewoodAlive’s Front Porch Concert Series! This week features The Chris Vance Quartet. Led by talented Lakewoodite musician Chris Vance, this seasoned group of musicians consists of friends who have diverse musical backgrounds and specialize in playing jazz music.  Attendees are encouraging to bring their family, friends, blankets, chairs and snacks for an entertaining evening at this open-air venue.

  • Final Friday Shop Hop – Troy

    Downtown stores stay open late the final Friday of the month!
