Recurring Events

  • Take a Hike – Cleveland Take a Hike Tour in Cleveland
    Take a Hike offers six (FREE!) guided walking tours of distinct neighborhoods in downtown Cleveland! Weekly tours explore the Gateway District, University Circle, Warehouse District, Civic Center, Playhouse Square neighborhood and Canal Basin Park in the Flats. Each tour lasts approximately one and a half hours in length, and features actors and actresses portraying historic figures from Cleveland’s past. Check the website for the full schedule of tours.
  • Kent Restaurant Week – Kent
    From slow-cooked barbecue and authentic Italian cuisine to fresh sushi and exquisite small plates, Kent eateries can satisfy a range of cravings. Enjoy special “prix fixe” menus offering a three-course meal for one set price at each place.
  • South Town Cruise-In – Medina
    Join Main Street Medina for a weekly cruise-in in Medina’s South Town, Tuesday evenings, May 21-September 24th from 4-8pm at 233 Lafayette Rd (the former Hawkins Market parking lot, soon to be the new home of Medina County Habitat for Humanity). See some of the best classic, collectible, rat rod, hot rod, and muscle cars in Northeast Ohio, and enjoy classic tunes from the 1950-70’s with DJ Bruce. The South Town Cruise-In is free and open to the public.
  • Yoga on East Green – Tiffin
    Stretch out and relax with Yoga Chuck each Saturday morning from 9 – 10 AM on downtown Tiffin’s East Green.

  • Main Street Kent Art & Wine Festival – Kent
    Join Main Street Kent for the 13th annual Art & Wine Festival in downtown Kent! Enjoy Ohio wine, live music, local art, and creative food concepts from the area. Entry to the event is free. Attendees may participate in wine tasting for $20.
  • Kids Day of Safety & Play – Medina
    Head to the Square on Saturday, June 1st, for a full day of free, family fun, entertainment, games, and the incredible Safety Fair on Broadway Street. Enjoy face painting, balloon twisting, a book sale, summer reading kick-off, meet the Medinasaurus, and much more.
  • Troy Strawberry Festival – Troy
    This family friendly festival has over 200 Arts and Crafts exhibitors, non stop entertainment on two stages, activities for kids and so much more! Enjoy a variety of food and of course delicious strawberry delights. This years theme is “A Berry WACO Weekend”. Located in beautiful historic downtown Troy and along the Great Miami River levee.

  • Troy Strawberry Festival – Troy Troy Strawberry Festival
    This family friendly festival has over 200 Arts and Crafts exhibitors, non stop entertainment on two stages, activities for kids and so much more! Enjoy a variety of food and of course delicious strawberry delights. This years theme is “A Berry WACO Weekend”. Located in beautiful historic downtown Troy and along the Great Miami River levee.
  • Guys in Bloom: Wine & Cigars – Vermilion
    It’s the second year for this manly event that’s all about cigars, wine and Vermilion in Bloom. Only $55, you get two hand-rolled cigars, a drink (beer or wine), heavy appetizers and other manly stuff. Hosted by the Wine Vault, which will be closed for this event, you won’t want to miss it.

  • Story Mob – Marietta
    Story Mobs are part of Marietta Main Street‘s Cash Mob Line-Up! Story Mobs are a little bit different than our normal Cash Mobs. Participants aren’t expected to shop, unless they want to! Instead, Story Mobbers will hear backstories about each participating business directly from the business owner. Mobbers will enjoy refreshments, live demos, sneak peeks, behind-the-scenes tours, and/or more thanks to each of our *surprise* participating locations! Each Story Mob event focuses on supporting local business in downtown Marietta. Once participants show up at the initial meeting location, clues will be provided to learn the surprise locations of the evening’s Story Mob event!

  • Ladies Night Out – Wooster
    The 12th Annual Ladies Night Out will be feature live music and for just $5 per person, receive a “passport” and goodie bag. The passports will detail each merchant and what “special” they will be offering for the night. Ladies get your passport stamped for a chance to win prizes! Downtown restaurants will also be offering specials for the night! So get your girlfriends together for a fun night out!

  • First Friday: Pop Up Workout – Delaware
    You get to sweat on center stage at First Friday in Delaware! We will be on the street doing squats, lunges, push ups and more! Get ready to have a great time in the middle of this awesome street festival with music, vendors and more. Grab a friend and get ready to have some fun!
  • First Friday: Art Walk – Kent
    Explore special exhibits, enjoy demonstrations, snacks, hands-on activities and more in downtown Kent.
  • First Friday: Kids Art Walk – Marietta
    June’s First Friday is Kids Art Walk, featuring artwork from our local students in Washington County! We will have artwork displayed at some of our amazing downtown businesses.
  • First Friday: Summer Splash – Medina
    Grab your friends and head to historic Medina the first Friday of each month for an evening of socializing, dining, shopping, dancing, laughing, and merriment.
  • First Friday: Hot Fun in the Summertime – Middletown
    Who is excited about SUMMER?! Downtown Middletown is and we are ready to celebrate with a night of games, local shopping, a unique twist on BINGO, and chances to win $150 in prizes! Family Fun for EVERYONE! Join us in celebrating summertime and our awesome downtown!
  • First Friday: Summer Celebration – Mount Vernon
    The season kicks off with a Summer Celebration at the June 7th First Friday. Main Stage entertainment will be the Kokosing River SURF CLUB, complemented on the South Stage (E. Gambier Street) by Yvonne Sanson – Singer / Songwriter students. Start your summer off right at the beach ball bonanza with sand, sun, and fun at COTC Central Ohio Technical College (COTC); enjoy sand art, hoola-hoops and beach ball fun! Partnering with the Knox County Landmarks Foundation (KCLF), MSMV is bringing a behind-the-scenes look at the downtown Mural Projects. Grab a ride on the tractor and hear John Donnelly, the artist, tell about inspiration, working with the community, and hidden Easter eggs. Enjoy the Cruise-In at First Friday.
  • First Friday: Beers, Brats, & Bros – Painesville Bratwurst
    Come celebrate that special guy in your life be joining us for Beer, Brats, and Bros First Friday. Stroll throughout Downtown Painesville visiting participating merchants to challenge yourself to some fun activities.
  • First Friday: Wine Vine – Tipp City
    Attention wine enthusiasts! Don’t miss Downtown Tipp City’s June First Friday event. Tickets are on sale for $25. This event is for people 21 and up with a valid ID and wristpbands will be provided at check-in. Check-in will be at our wonderful sponsor’s location, Fox And Feather Trading Co. at 115 W Main St. Grounds for Pleasure Coffee House will be providing free Lyft rides for the event as well!
  • First Friday: First Responder Friday – Wadsworth
    Main Street Wadsworth and the City of Wadsworth are partnering for this great event celebrating our local police, fire, and EMS!

  • A Day of Enchantment – Cambridge
    Hear ye hear ye Cambridge Main Street is looking for a few good princesses, princes, pirates and fairies for A Day of Enchantment. Young ladies and gentlemen ages 3-9 are invited to spend the day with a variety of princesses, princes, a famous pirate or two and even fairies! From bounce houses to a magical carriage ride there is something for everyone during this popular event.
  • East Green Summer Concert Series: The Right Now – Tiffin
    Rescheduled concert from June 1st. Head to the Frost-Kalnow Amphitheater for a free concert with The Right Now! The Right Now’s pop-meets-soul sound is more than a vehicle for Stefanie Berecz’s captivating voice. The celebration of thoughtful, catchy songwriting and intricate arrangements evokes a subtle sophistication in the tradition of Quincy Jones’ 70s and 80s masterpieces. Since 2008 the band has toured much of the United States and released three acclaimed albums, racking up placements in television, national commercials, and the multi-million-selling video game Watch Dogs.

  • Main Street Live! – Van Wert
    The Historic Main Street Van Wert is excited to announce its Annual Main Street Live Award Dinner. Tickets are $20. Don’t miss a night of celebrating downtown and entrepreneurs at this year’s main street live.

June 14

  • Main Street Family Fridays – Ravenna
    Main Street Ravenna and our friends from the Ravenna Parks and Recreation Department present Main Street Family Fridays featuring Movie’s on the Square. The whole family can visit unique downtown merchants and great restaurants between 5 and 9 p.m.! There will be fun activities, specials, entertainment and more before the movies start at dusk on the square. Bring your blanket!
  • Sculptures on the Square – Troy
    Sculptures on the Square features 22 life-sized sculptures created by internationally renowned artist, Seward Johnson. There is also one sculpture created by local artist, Shannon Timura, that will be on display. Troy Main Street also invites visitors to be “Be Part of the Art” with art-related activities and experiences throughout the exhibition period. June 14th will serve as the kick-off gala with onsite artists and a musical performance led by 50s and 60s variety group, The Buzz Ford Show featuring the American Kings.
  • Movie on the Square – Wooster
    Wooster is going Hollywood! And we have your ticket to a FREE, family-friendly, community event in wonderful Downtown Wooster. The movie SPIDER-MAN: Into the Spider-Verse (2018) will be featured on a 33-foot movie screen in the middle of the square. Bring a blanket, chairs & friends! Popcorn, along with other food and beverages will be available for purchase.

June 15

  • National Road Bike Show & Rib Fest – Cambridge
    Hot rods and Harleys, trikes and bikes will line Wheeling Ave during this annual event. Come out to see bikes, rat rods and more and grab a bite to eat at one of the many food trailers. Stay for the live bands and entertainment and enjoy a cold beer too!
  • Medina County Pizza Palooza – Medina
    Medina County Pizza Palooza showcases the best, local pie shops in Medina for a chance to win the 3′ tall Judges Choice and 3′ tall People’s Choice trophies for Best Pizza in Medina County. Buy a pizza passport tasting ticket for just $8, and be a judge! Pizza Palooza is also an important day where we, in partnership with United Way of Medina County and Feeding Medina County, get to showcase and highlight over 60 county non-profit and social service agencies, doing good work for the residents of our community.
  • Vintage in the Village – Tipp City
    Lovely Downtown Tipp City will come alive with shopping for vintage, antique and artisan treasures, along with a wide array of food trucks and activities.
  • East Green Summer Concert Series: Mark Randisi & The Motor City Horns – Tiffin
    Hear the classic sounds of Mark Randisi & The Motor City Horns in downtown Tiffin at the Frost-Kalnow Amphitheater. The Motor City Horns feature some of Detroit’s most versatile musicians. Individually, MCH members have worked with a variety of artists, bands, and orchestras, including Justin Timberlake, The Temptations, The Four Tops, The Detroit Symphony Orchestra, and Yo-Yo Ma. As a group, they have joined forces with Bob Seger and The Silver Bullet Band (2006–2007 “Face The Promise” Tour and 2011-2013 North American Tour, 2014-15 Ride Out Tour), Clarence Clemons and The Temple of Soul, Noel Gallagher, and Robert Randolph and The Family Band.

  • Walk & Dine – Cleveland
    Experience Downtown living in the Gateway District Cleveland on Wednesday, June 19 at the 22nd Annual Walk and Dine culinary residence and cultural tour throughout the city’s historic Gateway District. This year’s event features eleven culinary partners, wine & craft beer tastings, and five luxurious residences with stunning views and convenient urban amenities.
  • Summer on Winter Concert: Part I – Delaware
    Free, fun, outdoor summer concert series right here in our own historical Downtown Delaware! On W. Winter St. between Sandusky and Franklin. Part one of the series will feature the Hoodoo Soul Band, who are well known for their funk, soul, rhythm & blues in the Central Ohio area!

  • Revitalization Series Workshop: Design – Van Wert
    Join Heritage Ohio in Van Wert as we explore Design in Downtown. We have several speakers lined up to talk with you about local projects as well as hands-on opportunities to do some placemaking in Downtown Van Wert. We will have sessions on painting colorful crosswalks, opportunities to discover how temporary signage can increase foot traffic in your downtown as well as a chance to spruce up an existing pedestrian alleyway. Please come prepared by wearing comfortable shoes and clothes that you do not mind getting splashed with a little paint. Lunch will be on your own in downtown so you will have plenty of time to explore what Main Street Van Wert has to offer. We look forward to seeing you downtown!
  • Ohio Chautauqua Tour – Chardon

  • Kent Torch Fest – Kent
    2019 is the 50th anniversary of the famed Cuyahoga River Fire that forever cemented the title “Burning River.” Kent will commemorate this anniversary with live music, food vendors, river themed activities and a ceremony celebrating the hard work of the Kent community in preserving the river for future generations.
  • Third Thursday: Staycation – Tiffin
    Join Main Street Tiffin for a Staycation in downtown tiffin! Think tropical, fruity and fun. Treat yourself to all that downtown has to offer and join us for trivia at 7pm!

  • Ohio Chautauqua Tour – Chardon
    Join Chardon as they host the touring Ohio Chautauqua! Full of live events! Actors, music, camps and history!
  • Middletown Pride – Middletown Middletown Pride Festival
    With the signature PRIDE RIDE kicking things off, Downtown Middletown has some BIG TIME fun planned for a night full of fun, acceptance and celebration. Everyone and everyBODY is welcome. (Glitter is optional, but amazing attitudes and kind spirits are mandatory).
  • June Concert & Cruise-In – Wooster
    Main Street Wooster presents a family oriented event featuring classic & street rod cars on display in Downtown Woo! Our concert and cruise-in will feature live music from The Usual Suspects and The Repeat Offenders. Classic cars & street rods are welcome!

  • Ohio Chautauqua Tour – Chardon
    Join Chardon as they host the touring Ohio Chautauqua! Full of live events! Actors, music, camps and history!
  • Downtown Mini Golf – Marietta
    Downtown businesses have created their very own custom putting greens for community members to putt their way around downtown. People of all ages can enjoy the putting greens by purchasing a $5 wrist band from the Main Street tent at the Armory from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.. Wrist bands are free for kids 12 and under accompanied by an adult. (Tickets are only sold day of at the Armory). All golfers will receive a score card to be used as they go around to each hole and putt, shop, eat, and have fun!
  • South Town Cleanup – Medina
    Main Street Medina, in partnership with the City of Medina, will host our first cleanup day in the South Town District, roughly bordered by Smith, Broadway, Lafayette, and Huntington. Snacks, trash bags, gloves and vests will be provided. Please bring rakes, brooms, and shovels, and a personal reusable water bottle.
  • Art on Main – Ravenna
    Visit downtown Ravenna for amazing art, as well as area food trucks and wine.

  • Pizza Palooza – Tiffin Pizza
    Bring the whole family to enjoy a taste of Tiffin and Seneca County! Attendees can purchase $1 tickets that can be redeemed for a slice of pizza from any vendor, snacks, soda, or water. Half of each ticket sold will go toward downtown revitalization. During the event, The Porter & Sayles Band will be playing live at the Frost-Kalnow Amphitheater.
