  • Kent Oktoberfest – Kent
    Join Main Street Kent on Franklin Avenue for the sixth annual Kent Oktoberfest! Enjoy Polka music, German dancing, live entertainment, delicious local food, seasonal beer/cider and photo opps with Hans…aka Mr. Black Squirrel.
  • Fall Cider Crawl – Marietta
    Embrace the changing of the season with Marietta Main Street’s Fall Cider Crawl! Featured bars will offer specials, exclusive pricing and promotions, and other goodies exclusive to ticket holders.
  • Main Street Program Partners in Preservation Open House – Painesville
    American Express and the National Trust for Historic Preservation are teaming up to grant $2 million in preservation funding, and College Hall has been chosen as a potential site! You can help Downtown Painesville by voting for us on http://voteyourmainstreet.org, and by attending this Open House event. This open house event will welcome guests into the main entrance area of College Hall to see the vision for upgrades and renovation through conceptual renderings, working toward the preservation of this historic treasure. Historical documents and artifacts will be on display that relate to the Woman Suffrage Movement and the rich history of the college and Painesville community.
  • Second Street Sales – Portsmouth
    Join Main Street Portsmouth downtown on Second Street to welcome outside vendors and bring the brick and mortar businesses to the sidewalks, for a day of the sidewalk sales that used to fill our streets.

  • Ladies Night Out – Medina
    It’s Witches Night Out! Dress up as your favorite good or bad witch, and haunt the district to shop for special deals, enjoy spooky snacks, convene with your coven, and have some fun. Grab a witch hat at the Main Street Medina table and get into the fun. Swag bags available for the first 200 guests.

  • Piqua Chocolate Walk – Piqua
    Enjoy a walk through downtown Piqua and visit over 20 locations offering chocolate goodness in all of its wondrous forms. Some stops have treats that can be enjoyed immediately and others will give you a treat to save for later.

  • Pumpkin Stroll – TiffinPumpkins
    Don’t miss the fall event of the year in beautiful Downtown Tiffin! Spend the day strolling from business to business gathering fall themed treats! All walkers receive a Pumpkin Stroll t-shirt.
  • Antique Car & Bicycle Festival – Wellington
    Come ROLL Through Time in Downtown Wellington. See a grand display of how we used to travel in style with vehicles manufactured prior to 1933. Everything was a little slower, and took more skill. But boy, oh-boy, were cars a work of art. Food and shopping vendors will be available, along with period music, and more.

  • Harvest Days & Fall Open House – Piqua
    Fall and holiday items, great food, fashion, decor, treats, antiques, and a pumpkin carving contest will delight you at this new event from Mainstreet Piqua.
  • Walking Tour: The Fine Art of Dying IV – Piqua
    This tour will take in areas not covered before and provide an insight into the burial customs and artistic carvings used in Piqua. The symbols used in the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries such as the lamb, the rose and the urn will be reviewed and explained. The cemetery is a place of traditions and innovations, of massive memorials and small remembrances and examples of old world markers and new world adaptions. Tour is led by local historian Jim Oda.
  • HarvestFest – Tipp City
    Join Downtown Tipp City for a celebration of fall with music, food, and fun! Enjoy a Saturday evening in beautiful historic Downtown Tipp City, and listen to rockin’ tunes by The Big Wazu, enjoy frosty beverages or join in on the costume contest. This will be a fun & free event for all guests ages 21 and up!

  • Picnic at the Big Basket – NewarkNewark Longaberger Basket Building
    A rare opportunity to take a tour of the former headquarters of The Longaberger Company, known to many as the “Big Basket.” Explore the first two floors of the building, hear stories of Longaberger’s famed history, and enjoy food and live music while you picnic at the basket.
  • Medina Cars & Coffee Cruise-In – Medina
    Grab a cup of coffee on the Square, and then check out some of the beautiful, classic cars, street rods, and custom jobs parked around the Square.

  • Culinary & Residential Tour of the Warehouse District – Cleveland
    The evening begins with an Opening Reception and continues with tours of five historic and modern residences led by knowledgeable and experienced guides. Throughout the event, guests will enjoy live music, a showcase of culinary delights from celebrated Warehouse District restaurants, wine, and craft beer. The evening concludes with a dessert and coffee reception.
  • Scare on the Square & Wadsworth Thriller – WadsworthWadsworth Thriller
    Dress up for the downtown trick or treat, followed up by Wadsworth’s famous Thriller. Afterward, dine with zombies at downtown restaurants! Go ahead, they’re not THAT scary!

  • Trick or Treat on Main Street – Cambridge
    Bring your favorite little ghost, goblin, princess, pirate or other costumed character to Historic Wheeling Avenue.
  • Brews & Brains on Main – Cambridge
    The virus has spread and the undead will be out on Wheeling Ave. The “antidote” can be found various spots in downtown Cambridge. This 21+ event is sure to be fun. Admission includes the “antidote” stops, admission to Hells Height’s Haunted House and a souvenir.
  • Clean Up Kent – Kent
    Time for fall cleaning in the City of Kent! Come to the Destination Kent CVB/Visitor Centre to pick up supplies and choose a spot on the map for your group to work. Enjoy a cup of coffee and a donut (while they last), then head out to Clean Up Kent!
  • Fall Clean Sweep – Marietta
    This day of volunteerism requires all hands on deck to support beautification efforts downtown! Many hands make light work, and Marietta Main Street need as much help as they can muster from local groups, residents, and visitors alike!
  • Peoples Bank Theatre Family Trick or Treat Festival – Marietta
    Starting at 5 pm,  a section of Putnam Street will be closed for the little ones to enjoy a street party filled with jumpy houses, food and soda, and more! Then, when you need a break from the gut-busting good time outside, you can enter the not-so-spooky haunted house and enjoy carnival games! However, once the sun begins to set at 7 pm, the ghouls will come out. For all of you young adults looking for a spooktacular time, join  enjoy the Disco Monster Mash, and a night-time of scares! There will be a DJ, costume contests, drinks & snacks, games, prizes, and more!
  • Ghost & Ghouls Costume Ball – Middletown
    The evening will feature the rocking band Velvet Crush, interactive games, costume contests, spooky snacks, cash bar + more! Each ticket will receive one complimentary signature, spirited cocktail. Tricks and treats will be around every corner, this is sure to be an evening that will haunt you forever.
  • Boo in the Burg & Ohio Wine Tasting – Millersburgwine glasses carved on pumpkin
    Join Historic Downtown Millersburg for a night of food, ghost tours, live entertainment and great wines.
  • Harry Potter Trick or Treat  – Tipp City
    Join the Merchants of Downtown Tipp City for a fun filled Trick or Treat. Dress up as your favorite Harry Potter character or in your most festive costume for a wizarding day Downtown!
  • Hometown Halloween – Troy
    Enjoy some spooky scares in historic downtown Troy.
  • Historic Main Street Trick or Treat – Van Wert
    Dress-up and visit the stores and offices in downtown Van Wert for the Downtown Business Owners Trick or Treat. Stop by the Wassenberg Art Center for some ghoulish craft kits.
