25th Anniversary Celebration
This fall Heritage Ohio will celebrate 25 years from the founding of our organization in September 1989 as Downtown Ohio with the Heritage Ohio Annual Revitalization and Preservation Conference, hosted at the Kent State University Hotel and Conference Center, September 22-24.
While the conference has been scheduled later in the year, the agenda holds the same variety and excitement. This year’s conference will once again present great learning opportunities for preservationists, community revitalization volunteers, and development professionals. There will be many activities such as field sessions, educational workshops, hands on training, and the chance to network with like minded community members. In addition, AIA credits will be offered on many of the sessions. Conference attendees will also have the opportunity to learn more about the success that Kent, Ohio has had with historic preservation and development through guided walking tours!
