Currently, Ohio ranks 18th in bicycle-friendly states with 19 designated bicycle-friendly communities, 48 bicycle-friendly businesses and 6 bicycle-friendly universities.Ohio can do better. In this webinar, Amelia Nepture will show how your community, downtown businesses, and schools can become bicycle-friendly too and find out how making small changes will lead to positive impacts for you.

Amelia oversees the Bicycle Friendly America program, which includes Bicycle Friendly Community, Bicycle, Friendly Business, and Bicycle Friendly University. Before joining the League in December 2013, Amelia was the Campus Bicycle Coordinator at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (a Bronze Bicycle Friendly University!), where she experienced the BFU program from the campus perspective. Before that, she worked in communications at The Nature Conservancy’s worldwide headquarters in Arlington, Virginia. Amelia has a Bachelor’s degree from Pitzer College in Claremont, CA and a Master’s of Science in Environmental Sciences and Policy from Johns Hopkins University.
